In life, we all make mistakes; some are small and some are life changing. The fact is that whilst we make these mistakes, we can’t let them rule our lives. We can waste time being judgemental of what we do, but when reflection becomes obsession and self-critique becomes self-loathing, we cease to be on the road to repair and instead veer off onto the path of self-destruction.

We are human and we will err more often than not. We cannot change that - humans are imperfect and ruled by hearts more than our minds. If you look to yourselves and see only your mistakes, then you’re missing the most important parts of you. Mistakes are to be learned from; to grow as a person we must have these obstacles to overcome. They are tools. Mistakes do not define us. Remember this. MISTAKES DO NOT DEFINE US. How we react and grow from these mistakes defines who we are. We are not our mistakes. We are not the scrapes on our knees or the scars on our arms.

You are not alone.
We are not alone.

Have a good night my fellow imperfect peeps.

Until next time…

Steven Caulfield

The first time someone tried to steal my bag in the subway I panicked and I broke his arm with an umbrella and since then none of my friends will let me forget about this.
If you think this was a badass moment you need to remember I’m 5 ft and my bag was a Lucky Star bag and I was crying while hitting someone much bigger than me repeatedly with a frog-shaped umbrella.

you are my hero

holy shit terror
